pages 5.5.3 how to format for Ebook

I have written my novel with Pages 5.5.3. When formatting for an ebook all formatting went fine until I attempted to link contents to chapters and provide a link for the start of the book. This is not possible on this version of Pages. Does anyone know how i get around this?
